Why would Nokia want to loose the S60 brand? With S60 being the sole UI for Symbian there will be no more confusion about what is Symbian and what is S60, because they will be the same. By keeping and promoting the S60 brand, Nokia and other S60 licensees have an advantage over Android, which doesn't have a brand at all (for consumers).

Excellent and informative podcast. Well done Rafe. This time I only went all glassy-eyed through about one third of what you said...well done!

Hmm maybe if I missed out 2 words in three that would help cut the time down. Might impair the quality of the waffle though.
