An AAS reader asks the questions that must be asked...

You'll know him as kflyer from our forums, but Miyuru also runs his own blog and sites - and he's also a nice kid and has given me a heads up on several news stories this year. Miyuru's created a survey of some of the Symbian/smartphone questions that most of us are interested in - it only takes 2 minutes to go through, so why not give it a try? I'll make sure the results get linked to here afterwards.

Read on in the full article.

Some announced phones like the N96, N78 are not mentioned. Further the option which things I find relevant on my phone lacks mentioning of GPS, satnav as well as locationbased search. These would be interesting to have added/changed.

Thanks!

Thanks a lot Steve !
Much appreciated.
Thanks for noticing those things snoyt. I'll add them to the question list.

Some interesting info from the survey results so far..
81.07% have been using mobile phones for more than 5 years and for most of them, the first mobile has been either a Nokia or an Ericsson.
91.75% of participants so far have more than 4 phones in possession and 87.86% of them use Nokia phones.
82.8% prefer Symbian S60 as their favourite OS and 42.25% of the participants prefer candybar form factor over other form factors.
38.05% of participants so far prefer QWERTY keypads and 34.44% of the participants vote Nokia N95 8GB as their favourite mobile phone.

Many thanks to all who participated so far and I'd like to invite all of you to take the survey. Like Steve said, it only takes 2 minutes. Comments are welcome !

I am assuming that most participants are reading AAS making these results rather Symbian biased. In any case the satisfaction results indicate the satisfaction level of Symbian users is very high. Interested would be to correlate this for windows mobile and iPhone users too.
