If you've ever wanted to get 1000 pickup points on an N-Gage game, this is your chance. You could probably do it in just a few hours by renting the game with a day pass.

Hmm, wasn't expecting much from this, especially with it being handled by EA Probably would have predicted average scores around the 50's mark.

Still, sounds like it could be ok for a one day rental I guess, get the impression most people would have already tired of it after that.

Anyway, we have a real puppy here to clean up after, could do without having to pick up virtual turds aswell

The frustrating thing is that the actual game engine is very good, the graphics are smooth and the interface really suits being on a phone. It's just there's no game of any kind! :-)

Like most third party publishers EA tend to put out poor software at a platform's launch but then do more quality stuff later on, once they get to know the platform and once they're sure it will have a wide audience.

i was quite impressed with the demo and thought the full game must be even better.
the when you get the full game you quickly realise what you see in demo is as good as it get's great gfx but bad gameplay.
It should appeal to realy young people though, what a shame they aint old enough to afford or buy a device to play it.LOL

That's exactly how I felt ccraig, I couldn't believe how limited the full game was.

The bit where you teach tricks for example, I was expecting it to get harder as the tricks got more complicated but it didn't at all.

Even very young players would probably be a bit disappointed that you can't really change anything. The point of the Sims games is you can dress your sim and customise your flat, but there's not really any customisation at all in this game. It doesn't even work as a tamagotchi cos the dog doesn't really develop or change.
