N82 ALS Product code

Hi,
new to all this, but not new to firmware updates, i have updated last 2 phones (N80, N95) to the latest firmwares and managed to find ALS codes for both of them, i have now updated my new N82 to v20 firmware, but have lost the ability to change from line 1 to line to, but before the update, it was fine.

I have tried to change the product code back to the original, but that still doesnt activate the line 2, could ay one help, who may know of a code that will work?

Thanks in advance

Uk

Sorry, can't help with the N82 product code, but can you advise what product code you used to get the ALS on the N95?
Cheers!

I'm no help to your problem either I'm afraid..

But have just got N82 from orange and found to my horror that they have removed VoIP cability

I flashed my old N80 to generic N80i firmware and would like to do the same.
But back then I lost my Line2 and as generic was new version than orange firmware I never managed to flash back and restore my line 2 :(

I don't want to make the same mistake with my new N82, so reading with interest this thread and how to flash to generic firmware with ALS that works with Orange...

Please keep us posted if you get anywhere! Good luck!

Hi Marmite,

i flashed my new (replacement) N82 last night, and found that V20 doesnt support line 2, so i called a place near me this morning, and thay say that as long as i havent changed the product code, they should be able to get it back and that it is free under warrenty, here is there number for you to chat to if you want, thay are in merseyside, but they may be able to point you in the right direction

0151 666 0011 and there called Fonebox NW
