Buttons are mshed together!

I have had my n95 for about 4-5 months now. Just one day last week, the number pad "9" stops working. Later I realized that number 9 and the red disconnect buttons are now linked. When I press either one, the phone presses both 9 and disconnect for me.

So this means I have a phone that cannot dial 9 at all!

Anyone has any experience? It is always in my car or in my pocket, and never dropped any water on it AFAIK.

Mine did that. Bloody nuisance when you live in an 019## dial area... or need to use w,x,y or z in a message.

I sent it back to T-Mobile and they sent it back working.

They claimed a software reset was performed and no hardware was changed but I'm not convinced... Screen was very shiny...

But I think you'll have to go all warranty on them....

Sorry

if it's just a software reset you could try that yourself if you feel confident. just backup and use *, green and 3 together i think it is and that should do a factory reset.

Thanks guys. If this happens to more then 1 of us, maybe this IS a software problem. I did install a few programs last week, including Mail for Exchange.
Let me try this tonight and see how it goes.

The only problem is that i bought from online site and not through t-mobile.
