EMtube is no more it seems :-(

It was working fine last night, but it seems Youtube have again changed their site - perhaps to scupper applications like Emtube and allow only the Iphone Youtube client to function consistently. Now when trying to stream videos the html instead of flv error (seen in the v 1.0.11) occurs.

If anyone else can confirm if their Emtube is working that would be great, but it doesn't look good.....especially with the Emtube developer's site being M.I.A.

I genuinely think that Youtube do it on purpose - there is no discernable change to the layout of Youtube and I bet the Iphone's Youtube client still works ok.

I'm pretty annoyed about this as I love using EMtube and it looks as if development of the software has stopped - meaning we won't be able to use it again.

The author of Mobitubia will probably release a patch soon but I think compared to EMtube Mobitubia feels a liittle cheap.

bah humbug.

working fine for me too, no... wait... take that back...

it lists the movies, but doesnt play... but the servers are being moved... so will be back soon.

My Emtube has not worked for weeks now.. It will "find" but not display unfortunately.

Youtube has changed their way of displaying so it has affected it.

Where is the new version? sigh..

which version are you using? Im using 1.0.10 and it's still bringing up the same error

same problem here. n95 with emtube 1.0(10). i'm not too too bothered since we now have flash lite 3 but still. if only the mobile youtube client could work off wifi instead of data then that would be a proper replacement.

MobiTubia works fine for me. I'm using v1.76 and Nokia e61

edit. emTube is also working, but it's slow on e61i as usual

Mobitubia v1.80 Build 2 has just been release to Donators. I have it installed, and its superb, very fast, and has a new look. And yes, it plays YouTube!!!
