Is it possible to use a 2gb MMC Memory card with the Nokia N70?
I have heard different opinions on this so would like to know if anyone has any thoughts or views!

I am also going for 2GB card for my N72(currently using 1GB)...Few months back I found these topics which may interest others (Please correct my mistakes if any):: (1) MMC card are out of date as such because of their various problems,all newer devices use SD cards... (2) The initial technology of MMC card supported max. capacity of 1GB..Later a logical extension was made to create 2GB card...Latest versions are different (>2GB) from old ones (3)Now the problem is that the cards upto 1GB are well supported by all manufacturers, BUT 2GB requires compatibility on both sides-card & device (as mentioned earlier, 2GB is extension of initial tech.)... (4) I have heard many people using 2GB card on their N70/N72--that means the device has the capability-no problem...Now we have to find WHICH CARDS ARE COMPATIBLE??...... So guys if you one using such card Please post here details about your card--manufacturer name,model no. etc.

i am using 2Gb MMC on my N70,no problems exist,just sometimes my camera menu will close itself,but the problem exist at first or second time and it wont happen again after some days...my MMC = DNA GOLD/2.8/made from china and it was cheap,i bought this card for USD $10...china products are getting better,cheap and good...sorry poor english
