Product code 0558086 for N95 8GB can be upgraded to v20 now...
N95 8GB with this product code 0558086 (that's the code for the Norwegian market) can be upgraded to v20 through NSU now. It allows English to be set as the language also...

Hey Ben - is it safe to use? I've only had my N95 8GB 2 weeks and don't want to 'brick' it!! I'm taking it that once the UK version is out I can change the code back and reflash?
Cheers

Upgrade is available for Euro1. You will need to update your Nokia Software Updater first.

I upgraded the NSU first and then when I tried to change product codes with NSS it won't let me. I can only assume the new USB drivers in the software updater cannot be understood by NSS.
As previous poster states, upgrade to v20 definitely not available in Euro 1 code trough NSU yet.

What's the autorotation like with v20? Does it work smoother than Samir's rotateMe?

It's true - I had to use another machine to change my product code... must be a change in the drivers that NSS doesn't like.
It's back to Euro1 now though...
As for screen rotation, it seems just as good as samir's one...

this is wierd after I updated NSU, NSS will not read the values again..........spooooooky. Anyway for the people who updated does the new firmware allow UDP or whatever it is called that keeps your data intact ???

I believe he means, having updated using the other code, he has set his phone back to the EURO1 code.
