Just download the files i posted in this thread and instal the individual widgets, they instal just like normal apps but use webruntime to run

so is it worth it? how fast are the widgets? i heard that they can be slow. also isnt this just hte same as using the regular browser RSS feature?

Could some kind enough to explain the different between Widsets and Widgets? Not the "S" and the "G" please.

WidSets is an app into which you can load certain modules like RSS readers, search boxes etc. WidGets are stand alone, flash-based, apps which you can install and run directly on v21 (classic) or v15 (8Gb) firmware. Mostly the same kind of things are available for both, things like news tickers, RSS readers, search pages etc.

I have also R66v8 installed:
After the update, I'd to execute the R66v8-SIS again, and it worked again . . .
The SIS-file I executed, is on the DVD-ROM

It seems the widgets we have at the moment are pretty pants really. I was thinking of having a go at writing one which will connect to the live feed on my webcam, so I can check it anywhere.

I suppose, except the live feed camera(s) I'm going to be setting up will be on a Linux box. AFAIK the Orb PC software is only available for Windows machines.

How to start Widgets?
Have upgrade to V21 but I dont see where I can start using Widget/Web Runtime. Please help. I am on APAC product code.

I don't think you see the "option" anywhere. You just install the widgets like applications. See earlier in this thread for a ZIP file with some examples in it.
