Firmware: European and Asian versions

i need confirmation on this. i'm planning to have my 9210's firmware upgraded. but the personnel from nokia told me that since my fone's current firmware version is european and the upgrade available is asian, my fone might experience problems/bugs. is this true?

What version do you have? I wouldn't up-grade with a different system...I'd wait to get the right one!

i currently have european 3.14... they have the latest firmware version but only for asian models.
