The N95 at the BBC

Darren Waters, of the BBC no less, has been using the Nokia N95 exclusively for blogging and videoblogging, as we've mentioned before. In this post, he summarises his experiences, good and bad. Suffice it to say that the N95's staying in his kit bag, but that he wishes there was an external microphone option. Wait.... there is - see below for video proof...

Marcel had a good mic setup on his N95 at Nokiaworld... N95 with tripod, and mic on extended lead..... he recommended it:

Its because Steve or whoevers video it is at the time, has it set to a 'private video' ... you know... the kind where you have to be a friend to view it.

Sorry all, now fixed. I'd set it as Private while it was 'processing' on YouTube and simply forgot to set it to 'Public' - GAH! [red face]

Thanks for the info re: wiring a mono external mic. What about the wiring for a Stereo external mic?

According to the spec, Nokia Video recorder records stereo audio.

Can you or anyone tell us how to wire a stereo external mic?
