E51 - ALS "Alternative Line Service" ???

Hi.

Does anybody know how can I activate this hiden MENU
in my Nokia E51 > Product Code: 0552197 ???

I need this second ougoing call Line ( Line 2 ) for my work!

My SIM card alrady supports two lines & it works in my N6233.

You need to use NSS (do a search, loads of info) to change your product code to one which supports ALS.

You then need to go to Nokia Software updater, and re-install your firmware, and you will then be able to use Line 2.

This process carries risks though. Your warranty will technically be void. You need to make sure all your contacts/photo's etc are backed up first, as it will wipe the phone, and you also run the small risk of bricking your phone.

The problem is, that I dont know which Product Code Support ALS in
this new Phone.

I have tryed more than 20 diferent Product Codes ( Orange, Vodafone,
EMEA, APAC ) & still dont have second outgoing Line.

Does E51 at all supports ALS in this first firmware edition or not

Yesterday i did get a Product Code witch supports ALS - second outgoing LINE !

It is from Provider A1 from Austria > 0557937

Languages in this Product code are:

- English, French, German, Spanish, Italian

Thanks. That Austrian code works, as does the UK T-mobile one my phone came with (0557021). But I'd really like to find some generic firmware that also allows ALS. I assume Orange will bring this phone out eventually, at which point this will be straightforward, but in the meantime I'd much prefer not to have T-mobile's or Vodafone's stuff on the phone!

Has anyone got the product code from a standard UK SIM-free phone?

Hi.

Does anybody have a Product code wich support ALS
with the latest firmware ver. 200.34.36 ???

After flashing this Product code 0552359, which does not
support ALS is downgrade on ver. 150.34.15 impossible.
