USB infrared Com port problem
plzzzzzzzzzzzzz help lol
i'm on win98 se and i have a IRXpress USB IrDA infrared, it says in the options tab that it uses com4 to communicate but my modem is using com4!! so i changed the COM port on the modem so that the modem will use COM3 instead.
but i still cant use infared and be on the internet at the same time.
it's really annoying me cus it just keeps trying to search for IrDA recipitents every 5 secs, it finds my phone lose's it then search's again.
any idea's?

i have an irxpress usb ir adaptor and I have have had nothing but problems with it and the 7650 unfortunately: it works fine with everything else. I've posted of the problem here and contacted Nokai several times but never received any satisfatory answer. Not what you want to hear but, I'm in the same boat too....

Still no luck :(
It's some kind of com port problem, my modem normally uses COM4 but my infrared says providing application support on COM4 and LPT3, so i changed the modem to use COM3 so the IR can have COM4.
but still no use, i open Mrouter and it says Cable COM1, Unknown COM2, Modem COM3, Unknown COM4. when i tick the unknown one it says the port can not be enabled, it may be in use by another application Grrrrr
i'm fed up , ive got 160mb of progs and apps and cant use them lol
