Having only just got my N95 8GB and being new to Symbian, I tried to install emTube using Nokia Application Installer and when installing on my phone, an error keeps coming up saying 'Certificate Error. Contact the application supplier.'
What am I doing wrong Sorry if this is a really basic question but its annoying me a lot!!!
If I remember rightly emTube is not signed, that would be the cause of the error you are seeing. I guess the next question would be "how do I sign an application?" Lots of tutorials on that in these forums already.
em Tube is signed no need to sign it, first thing i would advise is go into the Main Menu then Settings then Applications, App.manager then where it says Software Installations set it to all. Where it says Online Certificate Check set to off and that should allow you to install it and other apps also.
It is a great app does not need signing and the Auto Rotation using the accelerometer works really well, the only thing is now with the latest Firmware for the N95 8GB it has Flashlite 3.0 in the Browser so you can visit YouTube directly from it and then just just Bookmark it. But you can now visit many sites that use Flash where as em Tube just does YouTube.
