I have seen a battery with mmc card reader for the HP Pocket PC and a sony memory stick with bluetooth. So i suppose the tecnology is there and it's possible to make a battery with mmc reader for the 7650. Hope this is not only sci-fi.

There has also been rumours about a bluetooth enabled hard disc coming out, a little bit of software written for the 7650 and then lots more storage.
I believe any such devices could only be used for storage anyway, not for running applications from. With Symbian OS or EPOC as it used to be called, it has to be able to see the 'app' file constantly to know that it is there and show it on the desktop/menu. When I take my compact flash card out of my psion I lose the ability to see or run any applications installed on it, I think the 7650 would be the same.
Therefore if there was memory expansion via bluetooth, it would need to be contstantly polled/looked at, is this practicle?
(This is all just theory, I am not a programmer, please correct me if I am wrong)

The bluetooth HDD is not a rumour,it is real, its from Toshiba and its called HopBit or something, search the forum about it.
But that is not a real solution to 7650's memory problem.
The HDD is Bulky and Huge so it would be the same as carrying two devices.
I'm not sure but i think it is released in Japan or China, price: about 400 euros,i could by myself a bluetooth enabled PDA with that kind of money.
I agree that it could work with the 7650 with help of some additional software or maybe a firmware upgrade.
lakeywhite:The problems you are talking about are not that bad, they can be easily solved.
Lets just hope something will happen on this subject.

Don't you start, the 7650i is an unconfirmed rumour, until Nokia anounce it it is not even worth talking about!

IRVIN,dont start it,it was romour that was later on confirmed to be just that,a romour.
The 7650i will not be.
Next high end device from Nokia, hopefully Symbian will be a Series 90 communicator replacement.

Yes, Well truth is I dont know, I have seen plans of such a device, and a company was looking into making it [RnD etc...] But the phone has been out for awhile, asmuch as I hope a device will be made for the phone, being this late on [phone ever drawing closer to point of replacment] I personally feel doubtfull, i HOPE i am wrong tho!!! The device is estimated to be retailing at upwards of £100 [$140]... I havnt had much contact with the business in question for some time. I will try to get more info for you lot!
EDIT: That was my 400th post!!!!!!!
