Question N95 8GB wont switch on!! help

i installed the msn app and it was working. But the installer wouldnt fully close dso I had to turn phone off.

Now it wont switch back on. Nokia logo and light comes on and light comes on if i press a buttong but it never gets to the stage of asking me for my pin code.

What can I do?

I had the same issue on mine mate, not long after i got it. I had to reset the phone, and lost everything :(

I think, as far as i remember...you turn the phone on, and hold green call key, 3 key and left soft key. (This key combination might be wrong so have a quick search)

I couldn't get anything else to work with mine, so it might be your only choice. :S

did that and its back on now,. my messages and things havnt gone but most of my installed apps have.

Thing is with these symbian phones the more stuff you install the more the chance of it all going wrong IMO!

took me ages to set it up and install stuff too!

how do i remove the winodws live from the messaging folder now as it has faled to install windows live?

also my activation key for spiderman has gone too..? or should i say its there but its in the invalid list!

Hi Liam,

Sorry to hear of your problems you should be able to remove it from the app manager hopefully and i agree with what you say this is why i now only install apps i actually really want or need and that i am really going to make full use of. Although it appears some install 20+ apps if you don't need to i wouldn't install just anything as i also feel the more you put on the device the greater the chance of a conflict or problems occuring.
