N95 Games sound gone?

Hi, i have installed some games on my phone to the 4 gig memory card. The game plays fine but i get no sound now even though i did before. Ive checked the sound is enabled at the start but no sound still. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the game ( deal or no deal ( sad i know) ).Does anyone know why the sound could have stopped?
Any help in advance would be great.
Thanks for your time/help. Darren

Probably a silly question, but have you made sure that you're using a profile that has sound enabled as well (e.g. not the Silent profile, for example)?

The Music Player can interfere with game sounds as well, make sure it's not running in the background.

I have the same problem and on doing a bit of testing, found that the sound no longer works on Java games but does on sis or sisx games (i.e. native symbian).

I reinstalled everything when I upgraded to v20 so I can only assume that Nokia has changed part of the Java implementation with reference to the sound classes.

This is a real issue as I assume all the developers will have to change their programs to be v20 compatible then all the customers will have to download the new versions and install them. Why did Nokia do this and why aren't people scraming to them to fix it?

It isn't a general issue, I have a few java games on my v20 and the sound works fine.

Hiya, I spotted your post on the forum about sound issues for your java games and I had the same problem which was resolved by turning on "error warnings" in Tools->Settings->personalisation->tones then at the bottom, make sure error warnings are on! Weird why it should govern java games but hey! good luck
