i installed the firmware v20 last night, and had left the menu icons to default. installed the new menu structure.sis, and it doesnt seemt o have changed anything! not sure what the purpose of the file is!
*EDIT: think i have worked it out, (doh), when you upgrade and then restore from backup, your menu/icon structure will be from your previous state or how you had customised it, installing the sis will reset it into the new v20 format (possibly mess up the way you like your setup)

You do have to reboot to see the changes.
All it seems to do is throw all your apps into the application folder and then bury some things 2 or 3 folders deep! Apart from some new folder icons, there seems to be nothing inherently different. Also, WHY won't Nokia let you choose the icon for manually created folders?! That really annoys me.

I spend two hours yesterday trying to figure out where are the menu definitions and how I can assign a menu icon. No luck. :(
If anybody knows a way I'd love to know.
I always rearrange the menus to my taste, be it N95, Gnome or Windows.
Currently in N95 I have these folders: Office, Internet, Multimedia, GIS, Games, Utilities, Tools, Connectivity and Applications (which is totally empty, I only have it for shortcuts of new installations, which then I place to their correct folder).
And now most of them are without icon.

Yeah, I have the settings and applications folders which have a nice little icon on them but then a load of my own that don't. This new menu thing creates a couple more with nice icons but they are inside other folders and you can't move them out!
Seems strange not to be able to customise the folder icons since they must be in ROM somewhere

Hey,
I think bascially this small app re-arranges the menu icons into the look of the new V20 firmware if the user has used the backup restore option after updating.
As most of us tailor the menu's to our own taste, any Nokia Suite backups will restore the look of our phones to our original personal settings.
Obviously this will be different to what the new firmware will look like and have done to our menu's.
If however like me you just restored your contacts and manually re-setup your phones menu again then this SIS file will not show any changes, you would only see changes if you restored a previous backup file that altered the menu layout to your previous state.
Of course this is what I am reading it to do, hence why no one has yet seen a change.
