Has anyone spoken to Nokia UK about it?

If its available for EURO1 then it would be available in the UK on unbranded/sim-free N95s. Carrier specific versions (O2, Vodafone etc.) *should* come at a later date. Your lucky, I've still got 11.0.026 on O2.

Ah well.

4 stars!

Also, they added lifeblog in the gallery, but didn't remove the usual icon
Another thing I noticed is the new use of multimedia button (which now you can use to switch quickly between the current app to music player and back to app). Keep pressed the multimedia menu and you'll get the music player as usual. Here you can change song (or whatever you want), then press the multimedia again and the player will go in the background.

I've got unbranded/sim-free UK model that I bought from Amazon, IIRC. Product code 0547686. Nothing for me yet: still v12.0.0.13.

Thats because you have a Sim Free phone which is customised especially for the UK, much like a network branded N95, the new firmware will not be available until approved by Nokia UK.

Amazing what you take for granted and forget how it behaved prior to the upgrade. Doesn't help that the backup software doesn't back up all settings.
I could have sworn with the power screen saver that following would happen after closing the slider:
1. Keypad locks
2. Screen dims - can still see standby screen
3. Screen saver appears after x seconds
4. Screen switches off completely after x seconds.
Was I wrong?
Now I get 1, 2 and 3, but 4 never happens. Am I missing a settings?
And yes I'm embarrassed to be asking such a newbie question

Does this hint to a new Flash Lite 3 plugin to come out?

Update not for all N95
When will the update be available for all N95-owners? I have the firmware as shown on the thread-screen but don't get any 20.x.x.x :-(

And finally I find out what product code 0547686 means. Still, at least we only have to wait on Nokia Uk, rather than Vodaphone/Orange/O2 to approve the changes. Presumably that means it will be quicker.

If you plug v20 N95 Classic into media player, it comes up as "Nokia N95 8GB".. obviously a lot of code just got the copy + paste for this firmware

1. via optimizations
2. these enhancements are REAL. Iv'e already published some figures on the RAM usage; I'm just finishing my latest battery life tests. It seems the device indeed has significantly better battery life when playing back multimedia.
