SMSing problems

Hello, i just got an nokia n76. When i sms, it always fails. Even when i put the area code on and not. Please help.

I assume you can make calls and so on with the phone, and it isn't simply a problem with connecting to the network?!

It may be that the settings on the phone are incorrect or cannot be used, at a guess the details for the message center. Try checking this and changing the setting. You may want to contact your network to get the right number.
