N95 and birthday reminders.

I have an N95 that I sync with outlook 2007. I have birthdays listed in outlook that have been configured using the Birthday section on the each Contact. In outlook this puts a yearly re-occuring event which is alerted on, however I never receive the alerts on my N95 to tell me its someones birthday although they are listed in the calendarN

Is this a configuration issues, limitation etc...

Any ideas?
