Beer A proper messaging app. Does it exist?

Hi,

Just switched from an htc 620 to an n95, so far, so good.

I was just wondering if an application that replaced the UI of the messaging app was available (I mean the whole UI that manages sms, mms, email, mail for exchange...), in the spirit for flexmail for instance.

What I mainly want is:
- more compact messages view with date (and hour) display
- shortcut keys to perform common actions (reply, transfer, mark as unread, get mail...)
- all of this on top of the existing application data sources.

A bit like smsone from zidian studios but for the whole messaging part.

Any hints?

Thanks!

Profimail is the only fully featured mail client I'm aware of. It alters some aspects of the UI. E-mail is not S60's strength, to be honest. The messaging application and the contacts application are in need of serious overhaul.

I'm reviving this post to ask whether someone knows a trick to use the e series devices mail layout on n95 (still looking for a proper client ).

no there is nothing for this. it sucks. my hope has been ever since symbian was cracked open a little last month, that SOMEONE, somewhere, for the love of god, will please make something that lets us customize our active standby screens with inbox, or tickers, or more apps, etc. so far there is nothing you can do.
