Permanent RESET PLS!! HELP!!

Hi

Got a problem with my Z8 . It does not boot up. When I try to turn it on (with/without SIM/mem card) it flashes color screens (green, white, blue, etc) and does not boot up. I tried to remove batt - no help.
Please help!!!
Did anybody hear about hard reset?

The phone has been sent to repair. Allegedly, it lock itself into ERROR MODE :(
The OS needs to be reinstalled and all data is going to be lost
