Just joined as I've just got my hands on my new 5500. I'd seen it was the replacement for the 5410i, my one of which was beginning to be a bit battered. I saw the new price, and then looked on ebay. I was considering bidding on one when I realised that it was more than just a feature phone, and would probably replace the two PDAs I'm carrying around as well as the phone. Then I thought to check with vodafone to see if they'd give me one as an upgrade. When they said it was only a tenner, I jumped at it! I have just signed up for the mobile internet package, but even with that the contract is still only £22.50 a month.
If it had WiFi, the phone would be just about perfect. (I don't do a lot of typing, so qwerty is not essential.)
