WLAN Scanning icon.. How to remove??

How can I remove or disable the WLAN icon from appearing constantly in the main screen during the Active Standby mode?? I dont mind all the 5 shortcuts under the navi pane and the calender icon, but can I get rid of that WLAN scanning icon somehow??

ukmic is on a distinguished road

Dont think you can, The only way to remove it is to turn active standby off, but it also turns off the calender icon and the 5 shortcuts.

Ive seen screenshots with Active Standy enabled, without the WLAN scanning icon..
