Go check the closeup picture of the syncstation. Is says "02W44 made in China".
44th week of 2002 ?! Thats almost 3 months ago!
So I conclude the hardware is ready a long time ago and we are kept waiting for the firmware to stabilise. Bloody programers! (I am one myself) P
