P1i WiFi issues

Whenever I scan for WiFi networks, the P1i resets itself saying it has restarted to improve performance...has anyone else found this or can anyone suggest a fix?

same here.
got my p1i today, and of course i tried to connect to my office wifi setup.
kept resetting.

i then tried going to a nearby café, that have an open network, and i was able to connect without problems.

then i went home, where i also have a WEP protected network, and here too, the p1i rests itself while scanning.

this is really annoying ... anyone have an idea what the problem is?
i am supposedly running the latest firmware, by the way!

I found that my P1i will connect to my home network when security is disabled on the router. I have not tried WEP but WPA will not work. The phone did not "reset" when scanning for networks, it just would not connect until I disabled security. I want to use the WPA authentication on my router, hopefully Sony will upgrade the protocols on the phone.
