3rd ed. email client supporting pop3/IMAP/Hotmail and HTML emails - does it exists?

Hi

I accidentally posted this in the software forum. The original thread has been deleted and reposted here.

The subject pretty much says it all:

I'm looking for a email client for the soon-to-be-mine Nokia 6120 Classic (btw. I'm really angry with Nokia for delaying it outside Finland ). The email client I'm looking for must support both pop3, IMAP, hotmail and html emails. I'm aware that the New "Official" windows live messenger client also supports hotmail and places a folder in the standard messaging application, but as the built-in messaging application doesn't support html emails, this isn't really an option.

I'm of the impression that Profimail is the mail application to get, but it's a real shame that it doesn't support hotmail. One option that allows the use of Profimail is to start paying for hotmail and use the pop3 from Profimail, but is there another option?

Thanks in advance
Andreas

With Hotmail things would be easier, if Microsoft was a good Internet citizen and allowed POP3 or IMAP4 access to Hotmail.

As they don't, you can use an intermediate service provider (but if you do so, you have to trust them with your MS Passport username and password).

The official MSN Messenger (on 3) doesn't allow Hotmail e-mail access as far as I can see does it?

Can I use this for free on 3?

Currently they offer MSN Messenger which is free, is this a new version of the same product or a different product?

Thank you

Unfortunately you can't use it for free, as it doesn't use a 3 server but connects directly to the messenger server (as far as I understand).

If you decide to try it out (I haven't tried it yet, have just read about it), be aware that you will have to install it on the memory card. It appearently doesn't work when installed in the internal flash when the 3 MSN client is installed. If the 3 MSN client is deleted, there shouldn't be a problem.
