TomTom 6.01 questions

Hi,

Could anybody answer my questions regarding TomTom?

1. What's the difference between versions 6.01 and 6.02?

2. How to change a current font to the capital letter during e.g. defining the name of a new POI ('#' doesn't change the font, but causes an apostrophe to be written instead)?

3. Is it possble to configure a view of navigation to show a current street name? Unfortunately I can see the name of the next street to be turn in, the names of all crosswise streets I am passing on, but there is NO name of the current one.

Thanks in advance,
Slawek

1. 6.02 is a patch which makes TT compatible with the nokia E61. There's no harm installing 6.02 on an N95 but no benefits either.

2. Annoying - cannot be done. TT5 suffered the same annoying quirk.

3. You can set TT to show Street Names in Change Preferences -> Status Bar Perferences. However I think it only shows names of nearby Streets, not the one you are currently on. Instead, the road number (e.g. A5091) which you are driving along is displayed at the top right of the screen.

hope this helps, and someone please correct me if any of the above is incorrect.

Thanks for the answer, you helped me for sure.

Unfortunately, there is no name of the current street shown on display, as it is in Nokia Smart2Go navigation. The graphic is also better in the native solution.
Additionally, it is dificult for me to find some pleasant colors for roads in TomTom, although I downloaded all the color schemes available in TomTom Plus service. Of course, in general TomTom works better.

Could anybody tell me if TomTom charges any additional fees for the services or I need only to pay for data transmition according to the prices of my GSM provider?
