speaker issues...

my N95 speaker seems to be vey crackly, as if it has blown (only had the phone 5 weeks). i have had a look thru the forum and the only reference to this problem suggests a software issue? i have tried V10 T mobile, V11 T mobile and V11 unbranded (euro1) and the problem has been the same.

can anyone suggest what the problem is? is it likely the speaker has blown already? ive only made half a dozen phone calls!

cheers

im have the exact same problem and i have unbranded my phone. im not sure if its a software problem, sounds like there is actually something wrong with the speaker. Ive been told to take mine to a Nokia service center.

I have the same problem on mine too. I think it's just that the speaker is a bit naff. With mine it comes and goes and is only evident when the speaker volume is on the highest setting.

I had exactly the same problem with mine within the first week

Vodafone replaced the handset, had the new phone about 10 days now and the crackle has started again

I find if I blow lightly into the speaker it seems to clear it up a little so I was wondering if its maybe picking up dust etc
