firmware update - dead phone!

hi guys, i just ran teh update on my uk 02 w950i, which seemed to run fine, untill i tried to turn the darned thing back on - now the keypad lights up and every now and again the screen flashes white?!
anybody else had a similar problem?
is there a way to rollback the firmware or reset it?

I have the exact same problem as a result of a firmware update. Any suggestions on what to do?

I'm with O2 and I ran the update a couple of days ago, touch wood everything is fine.

Did you remove the battery and then put it back in before restarting the phone?

actually, you cant start up the phone without taking the battery out first. i updated my unbranded w950i yesterday and i forgot that i had to take the battery out, so i tried turning it on, but it wouldnt turn on until i took the battery out.

phone works fine now, nice new features
