N95 USB mass storage Device Slow

I bought a new memory card and am using my N95 as a mass storage device and im copying over my old memory card and its sure not USB 2.0 as it takes ages. Is their a reason for this its a Sandisk MicroSD 2Gigabyte formatted in Fat32.

Just think its how it is, my old N80 never was the fastest thing in the world.

Yer bud it is crap slow,

ur better off getting a card reader and use the microSD adapter.

If u have a LIDL near by they have one for 7.99 which does the job nicely.

Otherwise you can wait, but no promises to if it will be improved in upcoming fw.

In PC Suite mode transfers are quite quick but in "mass storage" mode they're somewhat (read considerably) slower.
Almost certainly a driver issue.
I was going to do a defrag but decided just reformat and copy the data back on would be way faster.

Now i've been using the phone i'm definetely inclined to agree with you, its far slower in mass storage than in pc suite mode. Far slower than my N80 was for sure.
