T-Mobile N95 & Wi-Fi?

Have T-Mobile disabled wi-fi on the N95 in the same way that they have done with most other handsets they offer? If so is it possible to activate this again by flashing the firmware with a generic Nokia version and will this cause any issues with T-Mobile services?

Mine seems to work... most of the time.
The options for it are certainly all there and enabled.

Has anyone moved from the N73 to the N95 and if so is the N95 alot faster through the menus in comparison to the N73? My N73 drives me mad, accessing the new sms screen or reading a incoming sms can sometime cause long pauses befor ethey are displayed on screen correctly. I'm hoping a swap to the N95 will avoid these issues. My old 6630 was far quicker at basic operations than the N73.

First new phone in about 4 years so all this is new to me...

My T-mobile phone connects to wi-fi pretty well initially, but trying to click through on links seems to cause the phone to crash.

I'm not sure that although it asks to connect via my wi-fi, it then starts using 3G. Is there any way to ensure that it always stays on wi-fi?
