Using a very high tech solution ...

I spent about an hour in Halfords deliberating, cost and actually where I could put it ...

Brodit make some specific car holders for the N80, some of them are active holders instead of passive.
Personally I use a Brodit 905087 with a Nokia HF-3 Car kit, so I have no messing around with cables, just drop my N80 in the cradle and it works a dream. The Brodit 905087 says it only works with the CK-7W car kit, but the connector is the same one used across a number of Nokia Car Kits, you just need to check it out first.
Brodit make these for the N80 :
870087 Passive holder
875087 Passive Holder,Tilt Swivel
905087 Holder f. Cable Connection

Mate I'm sorry I've come over like that. I had no idea this was my first post as I use so many different forums and it's sometimes hard to keep track
Been on this site for ages, please don't take offence.......

Its all I was doing in the first place... no-one had answered the guy/girl so I left them something rather than nothing, which as you see continued in to some other amusing tips as well as a few useful tips!
