n73 and msg problem

hi,

I used to have 6630 and now i changed to N73 music edition. As i recall when i was trying to delete msgs in 6630 it took like 1 minute to delete 300-400 msgs. Now in N73 it deletes msgs one by one and it stucks after the first 20 or first 40 (depends everytime that i try to do that). So is there any way to fix that? its way too slow when 6630 was deleting 10 msgs the second and n73 deletes 1 per second or less...or none.

Also i am still facing the problem with taking a while to send a msg. I installed the software from nokia and saw no change. I tried it on a different n73 and it worked fine...I am starting to think that maybe music edition is problematic.

Any ideas?

Try installing the SMS Accelerator application, freely available from the Nokia website.

Done that allready. I am using the latest firmware...now i have like 600 msgs on my phone which i want to delete and I cant because it takes ages or because it stucks after a while..

Is nokia going to fix that or no? Its quite annoying. Its supposed to be faster than 6630 and its way slower. Also navigating into menus takes a while when I was used to much faster with 6630.

Any ideas? Am i doing something wrong here or this is a problematic model of nokia?

How do you try to delete the messages, one by one, or all at once?

I am trying to delete them all by selecting all of them and delete.

Messages are stored in the memory card.
