Get Rid of Calendar on Active Standby or Active Standby Replacement?
Hi,
I like having the shortcut icons on the Active Standby screen so I dont want to turn it off but I dont like having the calendar on there - is there a way to turn it off - or is there a replacement for it, preferably freeware?
Thanks
Ian

You can choose which icons you want in settings, Active Standby Apps.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, but that wasn't my question!
I was asking if there was a way to get rid of the calendar items or whether there was any apps to replace active standby.
Thanks
Ian

Maybe, and just maybe, because I donīt know well such software, like Papyrus or Aquacalendar, can be what you are searching for.

At the moment there are 6 icons on active standby, I only need around 2 or 3 of them, how do I get rid of the rest?

Thats where you can change the Apps, but there is no option to remove them. I only need New Message, BlueTooth and Cal entries.
I can't seem to remove the others, which is why I don't usually have Active Standby on and normally set the keys manually.....seems a shame when I could use this feature, if I was able to amend it.

I'm afraid there is no way to reduce (or increase) the number of apps listed there. So, either you use them all (5 or 6 depending on the phone model), or disable the whole Active standby feature entirely.
I have no trouble finding 5-6 apps I need daily to put there, and in addition I also use the two softkey apps.
For others, I've also reconfigured the "multimedia" key (on Nseries devices) shortcuts and the whole main menu (so that apps I already have shortcuts to aren't in the main menu, but there I have those apps I couldn't put on the standby shortcuts, or which are of secondary priority; the apps used more seldom or never are in subfolders under the main menu/application list).
