Charging via POP PORT

Good day guys,

I have recently bought a handsfree kit and want to use the POP PORT to charge the phone instead of the flying lead, I know pins 1 and 2 are used for POP PORT charging and pin 1 is +'ve and Pin 2 is GND but does anyone know what voltage is needed to charge via this method?? Is it the standard 3.7V that a plug top PSU would provide via the DC socket

Cheers for the help
