Me too, I don't have any dust, But maybe after using the phone for a longer time, I always suffered from this problem in my previous Sony Ericsson T68i, And I also think that keeping that plastic cover will protect the screen very well.

But with the cover on can u really live with the 'washed out' color effect and the screen has a more dirty sarker look to it .. Much nicer with out another lay of media between your eye and the screen!

Unfotrunately not Anas. The Plastic cover is more of a scratch deterrent.
As regards the dust, its a sad fact that 7650 is not Hermetically sealed. (sealed from atmosphere). So, due to variations in atmospheric (Ambient) pressure, and hence the relative pressure difference with the phone, the phone is always "Breathing" which invariably means drawing in some dust. We will have to live with it.

Its like this. Nokia cant (No one can) replace handset with NEW one everytime there's a problem. What they actually do is replace you with a refurbished phone if its a major problem (unless u specifically mention u want yours back).
Some got new handsets earlier on, but that's because.. Nokia might not been having refurbished within a month of its release in a country.
If its minor, like dust, change of Power button and such you will get your phone back.

well i also had dust under my screen. first it was a few, then i brought it to my NSC and after 15 days it came back with more dust in it
so what i did is brought it back to NSC and i was really about it. i wrote a very bad letter to NOKIA Switzerland, faxed it through and after 2 days, i got a call from NOKIA Customer Service that i can have a new one.
That's why i got a new phone right now!! but as Sanjay already said, we can't avoid that dust comes in. Luckily i got two inner pockets in my jacket, so i'm not putting it in my baggy pants anymore, like i did in my first one!

Ok I know this is an old post, but is there even more dust under your screen on your 7650? If it gets really bad can u replace it or maybe get it cleaned and ask for a seal or something? Coz it's really annoying having the dots on your screen.. thnx!
