I am going to flash my N80 to N80IE. Could somoeone (that already have flashed it maybe) tell me the supported languages in the European firmware?
I will be at the safe side before i do anything with it. Its not a cheap mobile to waste, thats for sure...

The idea of changing the product code using NSS was to allow people to upgrade their 'branded' phones to a 'non branded' firmware using the official Nokia Update Service (NSU). For example if you had a Vodafone N80 and connected it to the NSU you would be told there were no updates, once you had changed the product code using NSS it was then possible to update to the latest firmware using NSU

I assume that installing a 'non branded' firmware would not unlock the phone for use on other networks but simply allow me to use a firmware that is not officially sanctioned by my service provider... correct?

Its a Solution , I'll take any option just now , but Might hold off and try track down someone local with one that I could borrow ( or just pay )
Considering I've messed up once anyone point me to somewhere that will do it for me ( I know there will be a charge )

Last attempt gave this

But for the first time the phone was showing signs of life - battery out and in again and we are good - thanks to all

Hay I Did it Thanks all
The files I used:
0542489 GULF Pearl Black Internet Edition (Arabic-English-Francais-Deutsch-Espanol)
The File is: N80_rofx_4.0632.0.38-prd.V08
but I want to ask about 3 things :
1- The life timer didn't reset!!!
2- During the SW update I got this message (Ape->INFO: Papub keys not programmed to phone) What is that?
3- I didn't use the NSS can I change the product code using phonix? (Without effecting my Language Pack )
Thanks Again

3. Because you chose the Gulf PBIE profile manually in Phoenix your product code should now match the one you installed (0542489)
