Internet from PC over BT into E50?

HI, I have a PC with DSL internet connection and i would like to buy E50, but i don´t know if can i use PC DSL internet connection over BT or USB Cable into E50 to sync calendar or download emails etc. Could somebody help me ?

Thanks.

P.S. Gnubox is only for "old" s60v2
P.P.S I´m not sure if E50 supports IP passthrough?

All Eseries phones, I think, support and should work with "IP passthrough" (Nokia Network Bridge) and an USB cable. No Nseries phones do, nor phones like the 3250 or 5500.

no, all Eseries dont support ip passtrough. In the user guide there is nothing about IP passtrough (only Data call or High speed data (GSM only) and packet data (GPRS) ) , and Nokia does not support BT PAN profile..., so could somebody help me to find a another way?

If E50 doesnt have IP Passtrough and is not supported by Gnubox project, and dont have SPP, no way!

SPP - Serial Port Protocol - the last one who have that, was 6600. After that, none have SPP. Neither E50 have it, so no way:frown:

I got my mac to connect to my Cingular EDGE service over BT by using the following instructions , just make sure that you first re-setup your phone through the BT wizard to be used as a modem.

Nearly the same problem for me - I just want a Point-to-Point TCP Connection to my PC to do SyncML with a local eGroupware-Server.

I'm sorry - but maybe I don't understand you ... you got internet to your mac via bluetooth from your cellphone - this isn't the question of this thread - isn't it?
