P990i - caller id contacts

Hi all, does you guys know if u can put in photo for the caller contacts like all other sony phones, so that when there is a incoming msg or call, we are able to see the caller pic. And also.. it the pic big or small? Cos for nokia, the caller contact pic is very small and if there is a msg, they do not have a function to show the caller pic like sony

The question is what phone DOESN'T have this feature nowadays. Pick up a marketing brochure.

of course i know most have. but just whether the pics shown is big or small. some of nokia models have the tiny pic.. which makes it redundant!

I didn't know the picture size of a caller ID was the deal breaker for one to decide whether they should purchase a P990 or not.

Yes, of course you can use pictures. Not only that, you can tile and scale the picture, so, for example, if all you have is a picture of your girlfriend with her husband, you can crop him out of the picture right there on the phone :-).

The P990i goes one step further than just showing the pic. when you get/make a call; it will also show you the pic when you get SMS or email from a recognised contact.

PS. Do you need pics now you can actually see the person via video call?
