Nokia 6680 on 3 - Need help Flash - "Phone Adl mode did not start."

Hi to all the modders, I have got Nokia 6680 which is locked to 3 Ita. And i need to flash this phone to unlock the SIM and other restrictions.

Currently it has sw;
V 5.04.07
15-02-06
RM 36

and i have successfully installed following sw in my mechine;

Phoenix Service Software 2006.20.9.148
Diego 3.06

and i have got miro_rofx_3[1].0617.0.6.V08 and miro_3.0617.0.6_prd_western_C00_cc.fpsx. I have installed the cable drivers as well. so when i try to flash this, it started giveing me following errors;

1) "In order to flash the PPM file succesfully, the version of the Flash update package installed in the prommer must be at least 06.02.002. Unable to determine the flash update package version in the prommer. do you want to continue YES?NO"

so when i say yes it goes to the Flashing mode and give me the following error.

"Failed to save all user settings are skipped.
PSN or Product Code is empty.
Or settings file not found for this product.

Do you want to continue?

HRESULT 0x80004005 (-2147467259)
This means:
Unspecified error

PSN or Product Code is empty.
Or settings file not found for this product.;Flash=0x80004005"

if i say retry.. it gives me the following message;

"Changing phone's operation mode failed.
Do you want to retry?

HRESULT 0x80043005 (-2147209211)

CMtcFN::SetCurrentMode, transition not allowed;MTCFN=0x80043005"

so i canceled the flashing. and set the phone mode to Local and tried. so here it says;

"Flashing failed.
Error occured during the flashing procedure.

Phone Adl mode did not start. Try again.

HRESULT 0x84012260 (-2080300448)

Flash: Adl Server did not return Rootkey Hash correctly. Phone HW may be too old "

and here is the log;

so why i'm getting this error? is there a way of fixing this? is there any other flashing software available? i really apreciate if you people advice me on the above issues and give me a solution. thanks a bunch.

From what i understand flashing hte phone will not unlock the phone, you need an unlock code that only 3 Ita can provide. Also asking about using hacked software i dont think is allowed on this forum.

anyway, there is no way of unlocking it by my self correct? do i need to bring it back to 3 Italy to unlock it?

All correct. Not allowed on this forum; You can unlock by your self; only network operator can unlock it.

Hi mate

You wont be able to unlock any network restrictions by FLASHING the phone becouse its been locked by the network provider. U need to use hacking software that can calulate the network codes as long as have your network MSN MSD etc details.

The reason you wont able to flash using phoniex is cos you downloaded the wrong files!!! if you didnt notice you downloaded FPS8 drivers but do you have a FPS8 prommer?? and also BaseBand 5 phone can only be flashed using FPS10

and also you need to download the right Product software eg. RM-36 product files then you need to select the right product code (which is written on the back of all nokias it the one that starts with 051****) if your using phonix select scan product if no product is found try manual load but make sure you load the RIGHT PRODUCT CODE or you will 75% of the time crash your phone.

Try all that OH and by the way phonix requires a security deskey which plugs into th back of the printer port without phonix wont flash at all its a nokia seruity feature.

If your get stuck holla back ive got the software inc product code files and phonix files im doing repairs at home now cos my work sux!!

at moment if you own a BB5 phone under warranty and its having issus with flashing or software take it to a autherized repair place they will swap out your phone cos nokia are having big problems with recreating new IMEI after replacing the FLASH so al the can do is swap out you phone. FAB 2007

The lock code is from the network provider that had lock the device.
Which one is, you must know. And, as far as I know, no other way to do that.
