Mini SD Cards...

Hi, All,

Does the N93 work with 2GB Mini SD cards as well as 1GB? I've just taken delivery of my N93, and I need to buy a memory card for it asap (what happened to Nokia actually supplying small memory cards with their phones?)

I read somewhere that the phone could only be expanded to 1GB, but I really need as much space as possible, so will the 2GB Mini SD work?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes 2 GB memory cards appear to work in all Symbian 9 phones. You might want to avoid no brand cards though.

Yes do not make the same mistake as i did.... I bought a cheap 2GB MiniSD for my N93 on ebay but when using it the phone couldnt read the card 80% of the time (displays on the phone that the memory is corrupted).... I sent it back and got a full refund....

I then bought a official 2GB MiniSD Ultra2 card at a website called mymemory.com for only £46.99 - other online stores charge around £60!!!

Just remember to NOT buy from ebay - even if they are saying its genuine - memory cards are the easiest to fake!!!

That's the card I was gonna get, probably order it tomorrow. Just feeling a little guilty spending yet more money after I just dished out a full year of car insurance, got a new phone and spent a shitload at a friend's birthday party.
