Nokia has released the gallery flickr photo uploader for the N73,but when i try to install it ,it says that it is not supported, why does that happen?

From where did you get the installation file?
AFAIK, Flickr Uploader is already pre-installed on the phone, so you don't need to install it again.
Just check Gallery application and see whether you can do Send | Post to web.

On the N80, uploading to Flickr is already supported in Lifeblog. You don't need to use the additional software Nokia released (WIIRC wasn't for the N80 anyway).

As an alternative, try ShoZu. This is a great way to upload to Flickr, as it automatically reduces the image size (if you want it to) before uploading. As a bonus, it also allows you to post on to different email addresses or FTP sites, all from one single upload. Great way to save on data costs. It supports Tags and Descriptions attached to the image as well, and can prompt you every time you take a picture.

You can download the app that is preinstalled on the N73 from the Nokia website, but the N73 is a Series 60 2nd Edition phone, and as such its software is not compatible with the N80.

I used to have Shozu on my 7610 and it was a good piece of software, but last time I checked they had not yet made a 3rd Edition version, so until they do that you won't be able to install it.

I used this download:
http://europe.nokia.com/A4162330

The N73 is 3rd edition, but maybe it's 9.3 instead of 9.1 on the N80?
