What Programs Do You Have On Your N80?

I'd like to know what people use on their phones! I have been trying to get some emulators with 0% success currently I have on my phone:

Agile Messenger
and Google Maps.

What about yourselves? I have been looking round for programs but cant seem to find hardly any!

There are not many V3 programs about at the moment, but I have

Mlock - locks the keyboard with press of one button

Calcium calc - very simple, nice and easy to use calculator

Doom - well no need for description, but very good game

Packman - great game but because of screen resolution very small on N80

sloved - lithuanian to english dictionary - obviously not for everyone

remote desktop - so that I can access and control my computer if I need to when I am out

Orb - not a program on the N80, but a program on my computer that lets me access my music, photo's, video, and live tv on my N80 via wifi.

I would say, be pacient. This symbian thingy is really impressive to programme on, I would say it's just a matter of time before 3rd edition software comes along.

What about compatibility? Admins should (my sugggestion) get hold of a couple of senior members of this forum and with a couple of phones and software, and start charting what goes or doesn't.

http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum...ad.php?t=21389

spectrian works great on my n90, its just the screen size is really really tiny when a game loads. But it does work, main GUI is impecable, full screen and unbelievably nostalgic.

I just got off ebay buying my n80, it's my second symbian phone since 7650 which I worshiped for being soooooo cool. There I had a bunchload of software that I will be buying again for sure, as soon as they build for 3rd!

Cant really remeber the proper names, but here goes...

Extended video recorder - not needed now...
Extended audio recorder - a must for any musician, I hear now it also records calls??
IRremote by psiloc - my most pleasurable in public places and nearby bang & olufsen stores hehehe...
Handy Car - great GREAT superb beautiful car managment system
Handy Clock - as it says, handy
FExplorer -
arrg - cant remember the name. It zipped intalled unused apps to save mem. I really made my day back then, with limited mem, but I dont think I will use it. Because its slows the USAGE (not the phone) down so much... would crash a bit after the phone had been 2 weeks un-restarted...

oh yeah!! I had a really cool app that activated the camera !!SpyCam!! thats it... sorry... activated the camera and waited. Once it detected movement, a silent shot is taken.

Another, where I left the phone in a dorment state, I would call it, it would automatically answer quietly to listen in...

The potencial on these crazy gadgets!

Cool stuff... I cant wait to get my n80 pumpin' crazy stuff...

Bluejacking was also lots of fun!

We list compatiabl software here:
http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/software/Nokia_N80/

Its currently undergoing an upgrade which will make it easier to add software. Once that is done I may be looking for some volunteers to submit / enter software that is not in the listings.

Cant quite remember now, I had problems at first getting it to work, I think you may need to rename the wad to just doom.wad, I will try to remember

Nope didnt work, what folder do you have it in? and is it renamed to doom or doom1? does the capital D make a difference? any light you could shed on this would be appreciated! I'd love a good old game of doom

OOOHHH!!!

I just remembered an old software I used to own !!

I absolutely flipped when I installed it...

... it was a sort of call manager, I think you could list people to block, busy tone etc... but the main thing about it was... you could pretend to be wherever you liked!

For example, once I told my mother over the phone I had run away and joined red cross international. She went into tears as she heard a tropical rain forest soundtrack along with my voice !! It had presets of Rain, busy traffic, etc etc, plus, if I am not making this up (loooong time ago) you could concoct your own track to play... A very good, mischieful bit of code there.... brilliant!!

My kingdom for the name of that software! *

*my kingdom is solely constituted by an overpopulated matchbox of starved fleas...

I used to have handy clock screensaver because I dont wear a watch and use my phone as a time peice, but I had to take it off to keep the phone in sleep mode because it was draining my battery quite quickly..looks like I have to buy a watch also now ?
