Time difference in Clock/Call Log & deleting a Favourite
Hi everybody - I've had my 7650 about 10 days now, although I've been vistiting this excellent forum for a lot longer D
The 7650 is - by far - the coolest phone on the market today P
I have noticed though that there is difference in time of upto 50 minutes
in the time of the clock and that of any call stored in the call log. For
instance if a call is made at 8pm and you go back to the call log and check
the time of the call, it shows that the call was made at 7.10pm !?!
I am running software version 3.16, and have never enabled the "Auto time update" option. I have been transfering files via infra-red, but the time on my laptop is correct, so I don't think that has corrupted things...
Any ideas why this is happening and how I can cure it ?
Also, I deleted an O2 bookmark (for the Games Arcade) from my Bookmarks folder, but there was a shortcut to the bookmark in my Favourites folder...now when I select the shortcut in Favourites I get an error message saying the bookmark does not exist - which is correct - but I can't delete the shortcut in Favourites.
Please can somebody help ?
Thanx for your time

Well it happend long ago, and the solution was that when you sync with your laptop, it changes the time, but you say the time you got there is correct... hmmm :-?
Well anywayz, about the favorites, you can delete it by using SeleQ, buy it or use the trial.

Thanks guys, I'll try the trial version of SeleQ to remove my un-favourite Favourite (!) but I don't understand the process of 'flashing' to cure the time difference in the Call Log - what do I do ? Has anyone else successfully cured this problem ?
Thanks again.

This is what seems to be happening. It seems to be because of the time difference on the PC and Phone.
I just got my newly flashed phone. I dint not set the current time on my phone. No thirdparty clocks. Time update off. And i dint even sync the clock. Just sent some files over to phone over bluetooth. And my phone clock is synced with pcs:|
I think ( though it's really funny ) mere sending files seem to be messing up the phone clock :-?
And the one hour time difference most of you observed could have bene as pichu pointed out, due to DST settings on the PC
