Bluetooth Headset

Hi all, my virgin post.
I've got my N80 for a mmonth now and its recently upgraded to the latest firmware of V 3.0617.0.6
But it seems that the phone is a bit slower than before and bluuetooth headset issue got worse. I'm using Motorola H700 BT headset with my N80. But some times the phone just disconnect the connection and reconnects again. Wat may be the issue? Also when i'm using BT headset, and decided to press the handset button, the loudspeaker will turn on. anyone got the same problem before? Thank you.

Just a quick thought - is your bluetooth set to hidden / visible?

I noticed my N80 starting to do this when bluetoothed to my Parrot Rhythmn n' Blue (which uses the headset profile). The disconnects / reconnects seemed to happen when passing another vehicle with a bluetooth equipped driver.

It turned out I'd left the N80 bluetooth on visible (from pairing to another device). After I switched the N80 back to hidden the problem seemed to go away..

It happens to me whether in hidden or show mode. Its just do it as and when it like. I thought its compatible issue between BT headset and N80 but the same headset was used on my N70 and it worked flawless. What gives?

do you know anybody else who has another headset you can try, if the problem still exists then you will know its something to do with your N80

Its hard to say if its the N80 or the headset cause theres no saying when it will happen again. Cause at times it works fine.
