anybody get the IM working?
I was curious if anybody was successfully able to use the IM application on the N80, Can you use some kind of yamigo/wireless village server to connect to it? If anybody got connected with the IM application somehow, please list the settings you used, thanks.

Do a search for IM, there already is a thread here that has dealt with this issue.

Quick answer: It depends on settings from your operator. If they dont support it, it will not work.

you can't do a search for IM, its to short, and even if it wasnt, itd bring up almost every thread. Thats why i created this thread, impossible to sort through them to find the 'IM' im looking for.

Try a Java apps. In N70 they work, but is OS8.x. In N80 I´m not sure. See here: http://www.getjar.com/software/ (legal download site with lot of Java apps).

You can use a service like Yamigo (i.e. it has to be one that supports the Wireless Village protocol). However for most people it will be eaiser to use something like Agile Messeneger ( www.agilemobile.com), IM+ ( www.shapesolutions.de) or eMSN.

It's not working for me and I've only tried via wifi to my router, that has nothing to do with my service provider.
