Where is the call duration display during calls?

The call duration is displayed during a call, there is a dialog bos that says:
"Call 1"
and below you see the call counter going on during that call.
What�s your firmware? mine is as:
1.0610.0404
RM-89
Nokia E61

Yes we have the same firmware version, but during calls there's only a white BLANK dialog box with a title/header "Call 1".

I've been posting two thread concerning on issues like "Unable to send dial tone during calls" and "There's no call duration summary after calls" that comes back to my Maxis sim card issue, but not for this one. I've tried switching it with my other sim card and it still doesn't show my call duration.

Try this to see what happends:

Go to Menu - log - options - settings - and there select show call duration (yes)

Ahaaa... there's where the setting is, I've been looking for it in the wrong place:
'Menu > Tools > Settings > Call'

...and yes... now the call duration appears =) Thanks for the info..

Why the hell nokia put this as something for the user to define? and secondly why the hell isn't defaulted to "Yes"? weirdoooss... =P

Hehehe, I do not know, maybe Nokia thinks thinks that this must be an user�s choice, some users (as you and me) would like to see the call duration and some others not.

Hello,

I have an E51 which cannot display the call duration while I'm making a call.

I tried to change the settings as you've described, but the only option I get in "settings" is "Log duration", i.e., there is no "show call duration" option for me to select. Any suggestions?

Go to Menu->Control Panel->Settings->Call
Turn on "Show call duration" and "Summary after call"
Problem Solved 😊
