I am pretty sure now that this is a firmware problem after you say you have the old firmware

In the tools section of your orb webpage you have the option to select 3gp or realplayer or wmp as the supported video formats, my 3gp is not selected as default, it may be worth checking to see if you are just streaming real, or 3gp, if not check 3gp and see what happens

Should the Nokia N80 be able to stream Real video from the BBC website ok? I don't seem to be able to get this working at the moment. I have an Orange UK phone with the latest firmware (3.0617.0.6) connecting via a Wireless router and can browse with no problems. When I click a video link on the BBC news site for example, I get the option to choose my bandwidth settings and which format to use (selecting Real obviously) and then I get a white screen with a small boat icon where the video should be

I've noticed people suggesting to open Realplayer and select the connection settings, which I've done but it still doesn't work.

Any ideas?

This is from the orb website

NOTE on DVB tuners:

1. Most DVB-T (terrestrial) digital tuners should work in Orb. However, this functionality is offered as a "beta" and is therefore not fully supported at this time.
2. DVB-S (satellite) digital tuners do not work in Orb at this time.

So give it a go and see
